Blowing Bulging Bubbles

Would you like to make big bubbles?
Recipe - tip water into a bowl, put two spoons of sugar in it and one cup of dishwashing liquid.
To make a tool bend a piece of wire and put string around it. Then put a handle on it.
It worked well when we had a test Lucy's group won the biggest competition and Charlie's group came second. Lucy used bamboo and a weight and string to make a loop. I hope you have a good time making bubbles like we did.

Bursting Bubbles

Here's a way to make mixture for the best big bubbles. The recipe is half a cup of dishwashing soap then get 2 cups of water. After that get 2 teaspoons of sugar then you stir the bubble mixture. When you have made the mixture you can make some tools so you can blow big bubbles. To make the tools, you get some string and straws. Then you thread the straws through the string and then tie it.
Next put the string and straws in the mixture and blow softly . When I did it, it worked really good but Lucy's group won with the biggest bubbles. Thanks for reading my report and enjoy making big bubbles.

Exhausting Rippa Rugby

The Rippa rugby Room 5 did, was to get us into it. Some people didn't like it because it's not a girlish sport. We did it on the back field. Most boys would like to go in tacklerugby. Andrew from the Makos Nelson rugby team lead us. Andrew showed us some awesome skills. One of the skills was to aim for the chest when passing the ball.

Delicous Party Food

Room 5 and 2 once had a huge party!
We had to get a napkin and one piece of two different foods but could have a little handful of popcorn. I couldn't stop getting the popcorn and donuts.
There was about 45 children and also a few adults there. The party was like dream world. Nearly every teacher showed up that had taught Micheala or Max.
That was the best party ever! Thanks Max and all the best for your move to Wakefield School.

Baby Rabbits

I bought my baby rabbits to school for news.
Brooke got a big bit of hair and she got it by the ear. I passed them around to the children in my class. I got them out of the cardboard box so they could see them and hold them.
The children wanted to keep my baby rabbits! because they are so cute.
Then I got them back and Mum took them home.

Talented Dancing/Disco

On Tuesday 14 June Room 5 had a disco.
Some people brought popcorn and some brought chips and some people even got some CD's. Room 5's disco went from after lunch to 3:00. We got to wear our pj's and we could bring remote control cars if it was okay with our parents.
There was a matching pj's which was Charlie H and Paris M.
At half time we got to have the food. We munched like munchkins and danced like chickens.
Then we did a lot of dancing. We played with the balls outside and had so much fun.

Red and Orange Leaves

I see red leaves and orange leaves tumbling down off the bare trees.
I feel the chilly wind blowing the trees.
The leaves feel like paper.
I hear the wind whistling through the trees.
I hear the leaves crunching when the children run though them.

School Cross Country

Ready, set , go! and off . The cross country is on. I am competing in the cross country. Oh my god here they come. I am in 4th place at the start. Noah, Ollie and Flynn G are ahead of me. Oh no you won't Taine. I have passed the four in front. I won the muddy Cross Country Race for Year 3 and 4 boys at Lord Rutherford Park by 6 meters and felt really excited.
It was a real cool day that I will remember for ever.

Floating Leaves

I could see leaves floating down from the trees.
I could feel the leaves scuffing with my dirty feet.
I hear birds tweeting in the trees.
I can hear leaves tumbling down.
I can feel dirt between my toes.
I hear birds singing in the big leafy trees.
