Domain Picnic

That was cool! Yesterday Room 5 tickie toured to the empty Domain Park. I saw my step Nan's work and I saw her.
Our class sat down on the hard bark under the shady trees in the corner of the park. We shared our yummy food but we ate our own lunch first. The shared food was popcorn, biscuits and chips. Room 5 got to do this because we got a class treat. It was like we got to go home early but we had buddies to walk with. Everyone got to play around on the park. Me, Charlie, Phoebe, Ella and Georgia did Cheer Leading dances. Some of the boys played rugby.
When we were going back to our school we had to line up when we heard the whistle blown by Mrs Roberts. We got different buddies on the trip back but some people didn't. It was really fun at the picnic.

On Friday Japanese students came to our school . I got to talk to them about our life and their life. We played two games. One was basketball the second game was paper, scissors, rock . I had fun playing with them. They also did a special dance in our school assembly.
I wish they could come again.

The Enchanted Forest

WOW!!! I wonder what this native bush setting is about ???
"Ah Mya, hey, the show is starting to look cool and that Tuatara is giving us the message about the show. Nice, it's about New Zealand's native bush and about birds, sneaky possums, grey rats, blue eels and all native creatures.
Hey Mya, those singing, long leg pukekos are so funny string puppets and the blue eels are telling us about keeping our rivers clean and safe. Those frogs have a funny singing sound, here comes the big frog. I got to pat it and it was fluffy and soft like clouds in your bed. That moas good at telling us about endangered species.
I had a great time, I hope the people and their puppets come back again one day to our school.
